Testimonials: Coaching

Coaching for clinical professionals

Nina was incredible. I was very disillusioned and down about work when I first made contact. Nina was able to help me recognise that there were aspects of medicine that I loved. I felt very low about [serious] cases, court cases related to this and growing expectations with limited resources. I am making small sustainable changes to readdress my work life balance. Nina is highly skilled, empathic and has kept this consultant in the NHS for a bit longer.

Consultant Physician, NHS.

I have known Nina since 2009, as a line mentor, coach and friend. She is a visionary leader who is able to encourage, motivate, and develop to bring out the very best in each individual. She is a natural coach, with exceptional listening skills and knows exactly when to ask the right, meaningful and appropriate questions, to get you to think and have faith in yourself. She provides support which has enabled me to develop myself not only in my current role, but preparing me to reach for future goals, both professionally and personally. I have learnt the valuable skill of effectively contributing at senior leadership forums and having the confidence to ‘sit at the big table’.

Nina is an experienced mentor/coach, always approachable and professional. Able to mentor through any situation, [she will] provide you with the tools to find solutions to the problems and see different perspectives, alongside this supporting your mental health and wellbeing.  I would definitely recommend to others.

Nina is an excellent coach. She talked through approaches on how to manage conversations with patients using the coaching model [since 2019]. I put this in practice and was amazed at how easy this was to use in practice.

Nina has been very easy to talk to and has given me some really good advice at each session. After my first session in particular reflecting on her advice and undertaking the tasks set were a turning point for me and I now feel more confident and looking forward to a new challenge.

Primary care-based and Community Pharmacist

After finishing my undergraduate pharmacy degree in India , my ambition was to further my career in Clinical Pharmacy. Having come from a completely different pharmaceutical background and from a different country, I found it extremely hard to cope with the stress and strain of the MSc Clinical Pharmacy course here in the UK. I was fortunate to have had Nina as my clinical tutor and mentor, who was kind enough to share her valuable skills and experiences in guiding me through the course. This not only increased my confidence to finish the course successfully, but also had set the foundation for who I am as an Independent Pharmacist Prescriber working in a large GP practice.
